Averroes European medical journal « Averroes-EMJ » is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publish original articles in basic, clinical and related bio-medical disciplines such as epidemiology, public health medical technology.
Averroes-EMJ is issued on continouous basis as a primary electronic journal. Print copies can be ordered on demand on monthly basis 12 times per year.
The Averroes European medical journal editors endorse the principles embodied in the Declaration of Helsinki and expect that all investigations involving humans will have been performed in accordance with these principles.
All human studies must be approved by the investigator's Institutional review board.
Encourage scientists and researchers to indulge in true research.
Provide them with all the possible help to start research proposals, assistance with statistical analysis.
Act as a medium to publish their original research papers, case reports and review articles.
Disseminate the updates about the latest progress and developments in the relevant specialties.
Help the young entrants in medical specialties with preparation for their professional examinations.
Establish close liaison with other reputed journals, organisations and societies related to the four specialties.
Authors of clinical papers are obliged to ensure patients privacy rights. Only clinically or scientifically important data are permitted for publishing. Therefore, if it is possible to identify a patient from a case report, illustration or paper, Averroes European medical journal Editors ask for a written consent of the patient or his/her guardian to publish their data.
Materials taken from other sources must be accompanied by a written statement from both author and publisher giving permission to the Journal for reproduction.
Obtain permission in writing from at least one author of papers still in press, unpublished data, and personal communications.
Averroes European medical journal has adopted the Open Access publishing model. All articles are published under Creative Common Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) only allowing others to download articles and share them with others as long as they credit the authors and the publishr, but without permission to change them in any way or use them commercially.
