ABSTRACT
Primary intracranial melanoma is an extremely rare lesion of the brain. A 33 years old man, without any co-morbid conditions, presented with headache. MRI of brain showed a mass lesion in left temporal lobe , with signals characteristics of melanoma. Histology and immunohistochemistry confirmed the diagnosis after surgical excision of that lesion. Patient remained symptom-free till the last
follow-up that was one year postoperatively.

Le mélanome intracrânien primaire est une lésion extrêmement rare du cerveau. Un homme de 33 ans, sans conditions de co-morbidité, a présenté des maux de tête. L'IRM du cerveau a montré une lésion de masse dans le lobe temporal gauche, avec des signaux caractéristiques du mélanome. L'histologie et l'immunohistochimie ont confirmé le diagnostic après l'excision chirurgicale de cette lésion. Le patient est resté sans symptômes jusqu'à la dernière
un suivi postopératoire d'un an.
